Castle Creations’ introduction of the Mamba Monster was abreak-through moment for R/C modelers wanting to experience what seemedto be unobtainable. Brute power and sheer stamina have made this ourlegacy ?power up? for popular 1/8th scale buggies, truggies and on roadvehicles and 1/10th scale monster trucks.

The currentversion we call Mamba Monster 2. The ESC is capable of 2S LiPo to amaximum of 6S LiPo, and is now waterproof. This upgrade allows usersto run their vehicles through the morningdew, across the soggy snow or just about anywhere else you?d beinterested in running a 1/8th scale RC buggy or truck. We?ve updatedthe case, allowing users easy access to fan changes, if necessary.Additionally, we?ve added solder posts to permit users to change batterywire length and direction as needed for an even more custom install.

Waterproof statement:Not intended for operation while submerged in liquid. If unit isoperated in wet conditions, rinse with fresh water to remove dirt orcorrosives, then fully dry unit.

Product Use Statements:

*Although Monster 2 and Castle brushless motors are waterproof, they arenot intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid. Theycan corrode when exposed to corrosive materials, such as salt water.Always rinse the ESC and motor with clean water after exposure tocorrosives or dirt. While the motor and controller may be waterproof, wesuggest users confirm that the rest of their vehicle, including thebatteries, servos, radio and chassis are also waterproof before exposingthem to liquids of any kind. *The cooling fan must be removed prior todriving in wet conditions. It is not waterproof.

Application Guidelines:

Intended for up to 6S (25.2 Volt) operation in vehicles weighing less than 15 lbs, with batteries, ready-to-run.

Tech Notes:

Not all LiPos are created equal, and surge ratings should never be usedto determine a pack?s suitability for a brushless application. Use theCONTINUOUS C rating only. Mamba Monster setups frequently hit 100+ ampsin peaks. We strongly suggest using 5,000 mAh or larger LiPo cells with adischarge rating of at least 30C (or high quality 25C batteries such asTraxxas© Power Cells©). Our experience suggests using only mild gearratios with NiMH cells. Do not attempt to use NiMH cells in extremesetups.
